Very sturdy and easy to use. Well made and very sturdy. The flat surface makes it easier for the person to get on and off the seat. Side bars are sturdy and allow the person to securely support themselves.

Extremely heavy-duty motorized toilet seat - easy to install, and even easier to use If you or someone you love needs assistance with mobility - specifically rising from a seated position - this might be an excellent solution. It's big (and heavy, the weight makes installation a bit more challenging than a regular toilet seat), but not so big that it's impractical to use - see the photo in the ad with the dimensions to confirm it will fit your space limitations. It's versatile when it comes to fitting a variety of elongated toilet seat bowls - it won't work with a small toilet bowl. The only challenge for some might be making sure you have a nearby power outlet. The power cord is longer than what you see in the pictures, but not by much. If you have an outlet near the toilet, you're in great shape. If you need to add something, you'll want to verify local code requirements and presumably be sure to add a GFCI outlet. Regards safety, the motor of the unit itself is clearly waterproof. The whole device is very well engineered.

This electric toilet lift is an absolute lifesaver for my elderly father in law. Formerly very fit and healthy, he’s been struggling with getting up from a seated position in recent years. He has a caregiver but he still wants to assert his independence and maintain his privacy. This powered riser with handles has help restore that sense of independence and dignity. It lifts smoothly and quietly and he says it feels solid and safe. The design is straightforward and setup was surprisingly simple. It’s a well-made, essential piece of safety equipment in their home now. Anyone with mobility challenges would benefit from this. Highly recommend!
I have aging parents and this was a gamble. It was a good one. The seat is very easy to setup and while installed it on a seat that was elongated and it fit perfectly it will also fit on a standard toilet seat. It uses an AC adapter and since most codes indicate the outlet be a certain height and distance from the toilet and tub today the adapater has a slightly longer cord.Installation was fairly simple. There was initial concern by my aging parents that the electric motor would be dangerous but it is clearly waterproof and no concerns of any electrocution plus the adapter is converting the power to DC and low voltage.I tested it out personally and it will lift my 220lb frame we no issues. It’s very strong when installed and no concerns of support. This is a must have for anyone with aging parents, loved ones or yourself looking for a solution where grab bars are not an option because you lack the strength.Time from sitting to standing and vice versa is approx ~30 seconds
Very helpful for those with mobility issues. Used for elderly parents. Easy setup and use.
It’s home health aid products like these that help so much with staying in one’s own home as long as possible. So often the biggest issue one has is just the strength to get back on their feet after sitting or laying down. For years they’ve made chairs and beds to help get up, and now with this toilet seat lift, one doesn’t even need to worry about getting back on their feet when using the rest room.My elderly mother lives with with us in her own little section of the house. She has her own room and bathroom, and we’ve got get a recliner that lifts her to standing position to get in and out of it. But the bathroom has from time to time been a struggle. She ends up needing to use the sink counter top to brace onto to lift herself up, to get into a standing position again. And recently she had a sore shoulder, so wasn’t able to even use the arm she needed to, to get up from sitting down. So this toilet seat lift as been a huge help with the whole situation. It’s been a relief to her just knowing she has this now and doesn’t have to stress the “what if” she can’t get back up, because with this seat she always can.Over the years I’ve known many elderly that were more than capable of independent living, but the one concern they usually had was getting back up to a standing position if for some reason they couldn’t. Whether it was bad knees or just a lack of enough strength at times, the big concern was always how to get back up. That was the one thing they might need help with. Beds and chairs with lifts in them have helped with this, and an at-home toilet seat is such a great idea. It’s just one more way to help people keep their independent living!
