1. How do I activate the lift after it arrives?
To activate your Foldable Electric Transfer Lift:

Fully charge the control box, then unplug it from the power source (the lift won’t work while still plugged in).

Mount the control box onto the mast and use the included Allen wrench to install the limit screw.

Connect the motor to the second port from the left on the control box.
-
Pull out the red emergency stop button and twist it clockwise to release it.

Press the “UP” or “DOWN” button on the control box to power on and begin using the lift.
2. Can this lift only be used for transferring from a wheelchair?
Not at all! This device is designed for multiple transfer scenarios, including:

Makes all the difference
My 91 year old grandmother had a stroke & the rehab hospital decided she was good enough to go home. Needless to say she was not. Couldn’t walk stand or use the bathroom or even help my mother & I while we moved her, complete dead weight. Didn’t help that we had no idea as to what we were doing & hurting her was just a matter of time. I ordered this and it has made a rough situation a bit more manageable. She can now stand with the aid of the lift & start getting strength back & is starting to take steps. If it was not for this piece of equipment she woukd have spent the rest of her days lying in a bed wasting away. It is a good sturdy safe game changer. It even arrived early . The sling that comes with it didnt help as much as the stand up harness I bought seperately does though. We were worried that we would end up burnt out or resentful or even injured by being her caregivers, this gave us hope of that not happening.i would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is caring for a stroke patient.

Great Lift.
I purchased this product to assist with lifting a patient to & from his bed, wheelchair or commode. It has been a life saver since manually lifting would take a toll on my back. Plus, I’m only 5’2″. This lift makes life easier and is safer than my actually lifting the patient.It was easy to put together. It is convenient to store, as it folds and is easy to operate. It also comes with a free FULL mesh sling. If you wish for your patient to be able to use the rest room without having to remove the sling, I suggest you purchase a separate one with the cut out. Other than that, I can honestly say it’s a great product thus far.

Very convenient
This is exactly what I needed to move my wife from the patient lift to the wheelchair to the bathroom. Fortunately, I can also transfer my wife from her wheelchair to the passenger seat of our SUV. While not specifically designed for putting people into vehicles, it might also come in handy if you have an SUV.Also, I have had back surgery and therefore cannot move heavy objects. This works great for me 🙂
